Who we are:
C.A.M.P. was founded in 1968 as a coalition
of local churches and quickly grew in
support from the business community, civic
and social groups, and caring individuals.
Originally a small clothing distribution
center, our organization has grown into a
multi-faceted agency offering emergency
assistance with food, clothing, and
financial aid to thousands of our neighbors
each year. Our mission continues today with
a small dedicated staff and a compliment of
over 150 devoted volunteers.

What we do:
For 40 years C.A.M.P. has reached out to our
neighbors to help them in their time of
need. We strive to provide comfort, aid,
and stability during emergency situations.
Our Food Pantry, Clothing Closet and
Financial Aid office are open six days a
week from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through
Friday, and 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday.
Services are available to residents of
Clarkdale, Austell, Lithia Springs,
Mableton, Powder Springs and east Douglas
county (east of Fairburn Road, Midway Road,
and Burnt Hickory) who are currently at or
below the federal poverty level.
In 2009 we had 16,858 pantry visits
distributing 781,551 pounds of food, served
16,292 meals, distributed 123,845 items of
clothing, and gave over $110,782 in direct
financial assistance to help with
prescription medications, household
